The benefit is substantial. For a Veteran and Spouse, the VA pays up to $1,950 per month, tax free!

While the Benefit has been available since 1951 there are currently less than 400,000 Veterans and Widows receiving monthly checks. The VA has stated there may be an additional 2 million who could qualify today.
